Tri-Ace’s highly underrated turn-based, gun-kata JRPG, Resonance of Fate, better known in Japan as End of Eternity, finally made its way to PC and PS4 as an HD HK re-release known as Resonance of Fate 4K HD Edition. For gamers who don’t want to play through the game in an honest manner, there are some cheats available for you.
- Ruby Credits
- Accumulated Stars
- Easy Craft/Unlock All Items
- Unlimited Combat Health
The credits cheat means you can gain access to infinite amounts of currency in which to purchase new gear, new guns, new clothes, and new accessories for the characters.
Additionally, there’s the unlimited combat health, so that when you enter into combat to face off against foes you don’t have to worry about losing any life or coming up short in that department. This is also key for fighting through the bosses, overcoming large numbers of enemy forces, or squeezing by the high-level areas within the game.
The gimmick of the game centers around the end of humanity and how you must battle through the ruling class machines to uncover the mystery behind the perpetual-motion machine known as Basel, and the people who control it.
The game features a dynamic turn-based battle system with lots of flashy gun-kata on display, along with music composed by Motoi Sakuraba and Kohei Tanaka. The game was highly underrated when it originally released eight years ago back in 2010, but maybe it’ll capture the attention of the audience now that’s available for a much wider audience?
The PC version of the game launched with some hiccups, but the developers are well aware of the memory issues and are set about fixing them, as per the post on the Steam community thread.
You can grab the 4K HD edition of Resonance of Fate right now for only $34.99 from the Steam store.
